TRAVELTALK CONNECT
|
| |
TravelTalk Connect provides access to
the functionality of the main Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and
other travel suppliers through the internet web services. They allow companies to
integrate travel features with their in-house applications. |
|
The web services are built upon Open Travel
Alliance (OTA) standard XML for the travel industry. They help
companies with little GDS formats knowledge to easily build a
powerful travel web application tailored to their needs. |
|
Currently
TravelTalk provides normalized web services to
the following GDS: Amadeus,
Galileo/Apollo, Sabre and Worldspan. |
|
DESCRIPTION
|
| |
With new internet technologies, companies
can now engineer travel web applications easily and at a fraction of
the cost it used to be in the past. TravelTalk Connect provides
a simple infrastructure and access to multiple travel distribution
channels that make integration faster and more efficient. Because
TravelTalk Connect helps speed up the time to market, companies
can better compete in the challenging travel industry. |
| |
TravelTalk Connect makes it very simple
to start exchanging messages with travel suppliers. With standard
development tools and the Internet architecture, you can create
travel web applications that fit your needs completely. Our
technical staff can provide help on a consulting basis. |
| |
Thanks to the Open Travel Alliance and
technologies supported by Microsoft, IBM and Sun, the development of
travel application on the web has been drastically simplified. These
standards allow disparate systems to communicate through the
Internet and eliminate the old "screen scraping" techniques as well
as the need to develop as many interfaces as suppliers have available. |
| |
As such, TravelTalk Connect provides an
interface to the developers who do not need to understand the
complexities of GDS system formats. Our customers can access all the
functionality needed to sell travel (air, car, hotel, cruise). It is
all achieved through the internet, saving them time and money. |
|
TravelTalk Connect provides a standard
interface minimizing the complexity of GDS formats. It becomes
simpler to sell travel on the Internet for a minimal cost. |
