ELLEIPSIS ANNOUNCES THE CERTIFICATION OF ITS ODYSSEYNG AIR BOOKING ENGINE BY AMADEUS

Elleipsis, Inc, an innovative provider of travel booking solutions and aggregated travel web services based upon the OpenTravel™ Alliance (OTA) specifications, announced today that its OdysseyNG Air booking engine has been certified by Amadeus.

OdysseyNG Air connects to airlines using the Amadeus API. The certification process, done by Amadeus staff, ensures that the application follows Amadeus recommendations in terms of API usage. As an example, for optimal fare search, OdysseyNG Air applies near date search algorithms as defined by Amadeus.

OdysseyNG Air provides access to all airlines available through Amadeus. OdysseyNG can be configured so that agencies can use their own Amadeus office id and access their net rates. All bookings are done in the agency’s Amadeus partition.

The Amadeus certification is a preliminary process put in place by Amadeus to guarantee that third party products comply with Amadeus host requirements. It is a mandatory step before any agency can start using the product in live environment.
