ELLEIPSIS ANNOUNCES B2B AND B2C CRUISE BOOKING ENGINE BASED UPON OPENTRAVEL™ ALLIANCE’S 2005B CRUISE SPECIFICATIONS

OdysseyNG Cruise Booking Engine and Travel Portal Integrated With TravelTalk Cruise Web Services

Elleipsis, Inc, an innovative provider of travel booking solutions and aggregated travel web services based upon the OpenTravel™ Alliance (OTA) specifications, announced today that it has added new cruise web services to its TravelTalk™ product. The newly added cruise web services are based on the OTA cruise specifications 2005B officially released by the OTA in December 2005.

Elleipsis’ TravelTalk™ travel technology allows developers who use messages based on OTA specifications to connect their booking engines and front-office platforms to a wide range of consolidated information from a comprehensive group of travel distribution channels such as air, car, hotel and cruise suppliers, while still retaining the ability to communicate with a single interface to those independent channels. TravelTalk™ aggregates the most expansive range of travel content available within a single normalized interface.

In addition, Elleipsis also announces the launch of OdysseyNG, the new B2B and B2C online booking engine and travel portal that provides automation of cruise reservations for ten individual cruise lines. OdysseyNG will simultaneously support the booking of other travel products, including but not limited to; air, car, hotel, tours, insurance, land packages and shore excursions. OdysseyNG is certified by Amadeus and available for immediate implementation.

Elleipsis, a member of the OTA, was originally a driving force behind the creation of the cruise messages. OTA and Elleipsis were then successful in establishing a working group focused upon creating the cruise messages. Various members of the OTA have contributed to the definition of the first cruise messages published by the OTA as 2005B OTA specifications.

Elleipsis has already signed customers for both OdysseyNG and the TravelTalk™ Cruise Web Services.
